Pop-A-Squat

Pop-A-Squat is built to need as little of your information as possible. This page explains exactly what it keeps and where.

What stays on your device

Your squat counts and your day streak are saved only in your own browser, on your own device. They are not sent anywhere, and there is no account to create. Clearing your browser data or removing the app clears them too.

What we do not collect

No name, no email, no sign in. The app does not ask for any of it.

Working offline

The app caches its own files so it can open without a connection. That cache lives on your device.

Hourly reminders

If you turn on hourly reminders, the app stores a browser push token, your time zone, and your waking-hours window, so the nudge can fire at the right local hour. That is the only thing the app sends to its own server, it is tied to your device, and there is still no account, name, or contact information attached to it.

Turning reminders off, or removing the app, deletes that record. The server keeps nothing else about you.

Anonymous usage statistics

To understand how many people open Pop-A-Squat and which features get used, the app uses Google Analytics. It records general events like page views, not your squat history, and none of your workout data is ever sent to it.

If your browser has Do Not Track turned on, analytics does not load at all.
